Riverton Town Days

The City of Fun Carnival is coming to Riverton City Park again this July 4th holiday. On Wednesday from 6-11 pm it is 2 tickets for $1 and 1 ticket per ride. This is a great deal! We usually go right when they open and the place is DEAD. Not a line in sight! All other days it's $1.50 per ticket and multiple tickets per ride. It's a lot of fun for my little ones (aged 9-3). Hope to see you there.

Great to know. I may have Peter take the kids tomorrow night as he has them. I spoke with Peter and we are planning on going to the parade. I will set out a blanket with enough space for my family and Summer's unless I hear from others. I am also thinking I will use my big tent thing I bought at the end of last summer to provide shade for babies. Let me know if you need a spot!

Adrianne, please save room for the families of Emliy, Shauna, Suzie, and Melodee also. Would anybody else like to join us?

We would like to join you. What is the plan? Do you have a spot? Where do you usually go? Do you walk in from 134 or 126? Do you need help saving spots? What time are you going Adi?

Summer put up a big spot by the canal for the parade. Peter and I went and got another one tonight as well. It is in an empty lot just a bit West of Summer's (1640 West I believe and the on the road runs East and West at the end). I'm not sure we will need both spots but we left them both up for now. We put up two green camp chairs and a pink blanket. We checked with the man who lives there and told him we would bring him a pizza. He was drunk but nice. I will set the canopy up in the lot for people who need to stay cool (the lot is covered with soft looking weeds). He said we could have as much space as we wanted. I am bringing my sister's family (4 people), and my sisters-in-law's families (another 9 people total). I will be there as early as possible (though I have to leave to go to the temple from 2:00 to 4:00 if someone wants to be there then). Call me on my cell phone if you need me or want us to pick up a pizza for you and your family (801-358-6317).
